The holidays in Old Polish cuisine – culinary workshops [COPY]
Celebrating holidays means spending time differently than on a typical day. There is also a special atmosphere, one which we emphasise with unusual dishes. Find out how this was done in the time of King Jan III.
Christmas is a special time when we enjoy for traditional dishes. At the workshops, we will learn what preparations for Easter and Christmas looked like in Old Poland, especially in the kitchen. Which foods have stood the test of time and which have we forgotten? We will also get to know old customs and find out why they were so important. Then, based on old recipes, we will prepare Christmas dishes, and then start a feast.
Classes are especially recommended for students of gastronomic schools.
